Address from the Associate Director

Audrey FriedmanThe goal of the Centre for Health, Wellness & Cancer Survivorship is to improve the physical and emotional health of people living with a chronic disease or condition including a diagnosis of cancer.  All of our programs are designed to help people gain self-confidence in their ability to control and manage the symptoms and the late and long term effects of their illness and treatment through education and the adoption of new self management skills and strategies. Our Interprofessional education team is comprised of professionals, survivors and volunteers from Princess Margaret and the community. In collaboration with our research team we develop and evaluate innovative programs and services that are provided at the Centre.
