A low fibre diet can help you manage your diarrhea, cramps and gas. A
diet low in fat, lactose (a sugar found in milk products), caffeine and spicy foods may also help. The best diet for you depends on what you usually eat.
·
Fibre is part of the plant that your body cannot
breakdown. There are 2 kinds: soluble and insoluble. Soluble fibre soaks up
water and slows you’re your bowel movement while insoluble fibre does not take
in water and speeds up.
·
Aim to eat soluble fibre and be
sure to remove the insoluble fibre (skins, seeds and membranes) from vegetables and fruit.
