The Function and Mobility Clinic can help you if you have difficulty moving or using your arm as a result of cancer treatment.
During your appointment at the Function and Mobility Clinic you will be assessed by either an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist, or both. They will develop an exercise program that will help you regain your mobility and they will give you information about your condition. We can also:
- Determine if you need other rehabilitation care
- Refer you to community resources
- Arrange a follow-up appointment with you to see how you are doing
How to Register
If you have difficulty moving or using your arm after cancer surgery, tell your oncologist or family doctor. Your oncologist can refer you to the Function and Mobility Clinic by filling in the
referral form.
The Function and Mobility Clinic is open to anyone with cancer who has an oncologist at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre or Mount Sinai Hospital.
