·         It is important to drink enough fluid to avoid dehydration. Try to 1.5-2 litres of fluid during the day instead of gulping large amounts quickly. You may find it easier to separate fluids from solid foods. For example, have a drink one half hour before or after eating a meal.

·         Ginger is renowned for easing nausea and an upset stomach; that effect increases when its consumed with some protein.
