Nutrition

  • Did you know that being well hydrated can improve your energy levels and brain function? Aim to get 6 to 8 8-ounce cups daily. Try this refreshing mocktail! Unlike an alcoholic cocktail, you can count every single ounce towards your daily needs.
  • Feeling nauseous? Ginger contains gingerol, a compound that may help improve appetite and digestion, and may prevent nausea. The jury is still out on whether ginger helps with nausea caused by chemotherapy, but it seems to be helpful for preventing post-surgery nausea in some people.
